Chelsea are reportedly in talks with Turkish side Galatasaray over a potential loan deal for midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko.
The 24-year-old has struggled to establish himself with the Blues since joining for £40m in 2017, spending last season on loan at AC Milan.
New boss Frank Lampard has seemingly been unimpressed with the former Monaco man, leaving him out of the club's pre-season games with Red Bull Salzburg and Borussia Monchengladbach.
The Evening Standard suggests that the attempt to offload Bakayoko to Galatasaray, who won the Turkish Super Lig title last season, is influenced by the West London side having too many non-homegrown players in their Champions League and Premier League squads.
Clubs are only allowed 17 non-homegrown players in those squads, with Chelsea currently having 19 in the former and 18 in the latter.
The report also says that Davide Zappacosta and Kenneth Omeruo are likely to leave Stamford Bridge before the end of the transfer window.
