Chelsea have reportedly identified Barcelona midfielder Miralem Pjanic as a potential transfer target ahead of the summer window.
Despite the club's improvement under recently-appointed boss Thomas Tuchel, the Blues are expected to bring in fresh faces ahead of next season.
According to Sport, Chelsea are monitoring Pjanic's situation at Barcelona as they consider signing a new central midfielder.
The 31-year-old has endured a frustrating first campaign at Camp Nou, making just 12 starts and 15 substitute appearances in all competitions.
While Pjanic is allegedly happy to remain at the Catalan giants, the report suggests that a decision on his future will be made in June.
Inter Milan are also said to be monitoring the situation involving the former Juventus star.
