Chelsea eyeing Scott Dann as John Terry replacement?

Chelsea are reportedly planning to make a move for Crystal Palace centre-back Scott Dann as a successor to John Terry.

Chelsea have reportedly earmarked Crystal Palace centre-back Scott Dann as the long-term replacement for John Terry.

The Blues have sent scouts to watch the 28-year-old in action almost every game this season, according to The Mirror, as they make preparations for the exit of veteran captain Terry.

Dann signed a new five-year contract with Alan Pardew's side last season but could be offered double his current £60,000-a-week salary should he make the switch across London.

Everton are also thought to be monitoring Dann should they lose John Stones to Chelsea or La Liga champions Barcelona.
