Barcelona near an agreement with Chelsea's Andreas Christensen over a move to Camp Nou, according to a report.

Barcelona are reportedly closing in on an agreement with Chelsea centre-back Andreas Christensen.

The Denmark international has been an important player for the Blues during the 2021-22 campaign, making 21 appearances in all competitions, scoring twice and providing one assist in the process.

The 25-year-old's contract at Stamford Bridge is due to expire at the end of June, though, meaning that he is currently free to enter into discussions with foreign clubs.

Bayern Munich and AC Milan have been strongly linked with his services, but according to Sport, Barcelona are now on the verge of reaching an agreement with the defender.

The report claims that Christensen has continued to reject offers from Chelsea, as he is determined to make the move to Camp Nou for the 2022-23 campaign.

The Dane allegedly has three offers from the Premier League, in addition to one from Bayern, but the centre-back has already made his mind up to join Xavi's side this year.

Christensen has missed Chelsea's last three Premier League matches due to injury and COVID-19.
