Barcelona have reportedly offered Antoine Griezmann to Champions League winners Chelsea, as the club look to reduce their wage bill.
The La Liga giants are struggling financially and are prioritising a deal to re-sign club legend Lionel Messi, who is currently a free agent.
According to football.london, Barca are willing to sell Griezmann – who is currently earning over £500,000 a week – in this summer's transfer window and have made contact with Chelsea to discover their potential interest in the Frenchman.
Head coach Thomas Tuchel is believed to be an admirer of the 30-year-old, with the German looking to sign a central defender, a midfielder and a centre-forward this summer.
Borussia Dortmund's Erling Braut Haaland remains Chelsea's main target, though Tuchel may turn to Griezmann if a deal for the Norwegian star fails to materialise.
Griezmann featured 51 times across all competitions for Barcelona during the 2020-21 campaign, scoring 20 goals and providing 13 assists.
