A report claims that Chelsea have no plans to sack Maurizio Sarri and they are waiting for Juventus to hand over £5m in compensation to prise the Italian away.

Juventus are reportedly still in the process of preparing a compensation package for Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri.

The Italian champions are keen to make Sarri their next head coach and have already held talks with Chelsea officials.

According to The Independent, Juve must stump up £5m to secure their first-choice target, who guided Napoli to a runners-up finish in Serie A a year ago.

Sarri will not be sacked by the Blues, it is claimed, leaving the Bianconeri with no choice but to hand over the full amount Chelsea are after.

The 60-year-old won the Europa League in his first season with the West London outfit, as well as reaching the final of the EFL Cup and finishing third in the Premier League, but he has failed to truly win over supporters with his style of play.
