Antonio Conte has confessed that he is unsure how qualification for next season's Champions League will affect his future at Chelsea.
The Italian won the Premier League in his first season at Stamford Bridge, but his second term has been more difficult, leading to speculation over his tenure at the club.
Chelsea are currently fifth in the league and trail Tottenham Hotspur by five points ahead of their crucial clash a Stamford Bridge on Sunday afternoon.
When asked by reporters how a defeat to Spurs would affect his chances of keeping the Chelsea job, Conte said: "I don't know.
"I must be honest, I don't know. This is not my problem. It's a problem for the club. It's not my problem.
"For us [managers] it is not sure. You can have a contract but you don't know what will happen after one or two games. We depend a lot on the result."
Chelsea have lost two of their last three league matches and exited this season's Champions League before the international break following a two-legged defeat to Barcelona.
