Chelsea striker Daniel Sturridge is 'unsure' of the extent of John Terry's latest injury.

Chelsea striker Daniel Sturridge has admitted that he is 'unsure' as to the extent of the injury suffered by John Terry on Sunday.

Terry suffered a knee injury in the Premier League clash with Liverpool at Stamford Bridge, but his club teammate Sturridge remains in the dark over the extent of the damage.

"I haven't really heard anything since it happened. I spoke to him after the game and he wasn't too sure what the situation was," Sturridge told reporters.

"He was going to have a scan, but I wish him a speedy recovery. It will be a blow (if he is out for a prolonged spell) because he is the captain of the club, but I wish him a speedy recovery."

Terry is currently undergoing an MRI scan.
