Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo has stated that he will do his talking on the pitch, following criticism from Jose Mourinho last week.
The former Madrid boss claimed that he had worked with the "real" Ronaldo, the Brazilian legend, at Barcelona.
The Portuguese star reveals that off-the-pitch matters do not affect him, after scoring twice as Madrid beat Chelsea 3-1 in a pre-season game.
"I do my talking on the pitch," Ronaldo said after the game.
"Things that happen off it do not affect me.
"I just aim to help Real Madrid to achieve its objectives and what happens away from there does not hurt me."
Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti recently revealed his confidence that Ronaldo will stay at the club, despite rumours linking him with a return to Manchester United.
