Everton midfielder Jack Rodwell is likely to be ruled out of the Toffees' trip to Stamford Bridge to play Chelsea due to a groin strain.
The 20-year-old was sent off in the side's 2-0 defeat in the Merseyside derby resulting in an automatic ban.
Despite the straight red, Rodwell was able to have it withdrawn after the club were successful in their appeal to overturn the ban.
While the England Under-21s international is free to play in the Premier League match, boss David Moyes may leave him out due to a slight groin strain, according to the Daily Star.
The midfielder missed the England Under-21s 2-1 victory over Norway on Monday.
