Report: Ramires to sign new Chelsea deal

Brazilian international Ramires is to sign a new deal with Chelsea, according to reports.

Chelsea midfielder Ramires is reportedly ready to sign a new contract with the club.

The Brazilian international's current deal expires next summer but according to Portuguese publication O Jogo, the reigning Premier League champions have offered an extension worth £3.7m a year.

The 28-year-old scored last weekend against Newcastle United and it is believed that the new contract will extend his stay at Stamford Bridge until 2019.

Ramires has made 226 appearances since joining the club from Benfica in 2010, scoring 35 goals.
