Antonio Conte to face Rapid Vienna in first Chelsea match

Chelsea confirm that Antonio Conte's first match in charge will be at Rapid Vienna on July 16.

Chelsea have announced that Antonio Conte's first match in charge of the club will be a pre-season friendly against Rapid Vienna.

The current Italy coach will take over at Stamford Bridge once the Azzurri's involvement in this summer's Euro 2016 finals comes to an end.

His first two matches will be pre-season games in Austria before the Blues play in the International Champions Cup in North America.

The 2016-17 Premier League season then begins on August 13, with Chelsea hoping to improve on this season's poor defence of the title.
