Jose Mourinho: 'I turned down Paris Saint-Germain twice'

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho reveals that he has twice turned down the advances of big-spending French champions Paris Saint-Germain.

Jose Mourinho has revealed that he has twice snubbed advances from Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain.

The Portuguese boss left Real Madrid to return to Chelsea at the start of last season, but the 51-year-old has said that he was courted by big-spending PSG before he opted for a second spell in West London.

"I think I can say that I was the first option to come to Paris ahead of Leonardo, but I denied the offer twice," he told reporters.

Mourinho has led Chelsea to the summit of the Premier League after an impressive start to the 2014-15 season.
