Jose Mourinho: 'Manchester City should be way ahead'

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho mocks rivals Manchester City by stating that they should be way ahead of the title-race pack given their squad's ability.

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has mocked rivals Manchester City by stating that they should be way ahead of the title-race pack given their current squad's ability.

Mourinho's men have the opportunity to jump above the Manchester club if they beat Arsenal on Monday night, with the Portuguese manager admitting that Manuel Pellegrini's men have more than enough strength to be dominating the league.

"I think in normal conditions Manchester City should be far from the others because of the squad, the maturity, the stability of the players, the potential of the striking force, the experience of the players. There is a difference," said Mourinho, according to The Express.

"But the Premier League is being difficult for everybody, also for them. So in this moment, everybody is there. So, I think, good fun. I think good fun."

Chelsea currently sit in fifth position in the Premier League table, although they have a game in hand over the majority of other clubs.
