Chelsea's Nemanja Matic confident of sealing Premier League title

Nemanja Matic is confident that Chelsea will win the Premier League title before the season comes to an end on May 24.

Chelsea midfielder Nemanja Matic is confident that he and his teammates will wrap up the Premier League title before the season comes to an end.

The Blues have seven games left to play, but they could be crowned champions before facing Sunderland at Stamford Bridge on May 24 following Sunday's 1-0 win over Queens Park Rangers.

Next up for Jose Mourinho's men, who have a seven-point lead at the top, is a visit from Manchester United, which is then followed by a trip to the Emirates to take on second-placed Arsenal.

"If we win of course, and we are ready to compete with them and we know it is going to be difficult," Matic told Chelsea's official website. "We have seven games left and we have to win four to win the title and I think we can do it to keep this distance."

The West London outfit have lost just twice in the league this season so far.
