Chelsea midfielder Juan Mata insists that his side can still win four trophies this season.

Chelsea midfielder Juan Mata has insisted that his side will "give everything" in their quest to win a trophy this season.

The Blues fell to a 1-0 defeat to Corinthians in the Club World Cup final in Japan on Sunday, but Mata still believes that Chelsea can mount a challenge in their four remaining competitions this season.

In his blog on Grada 360, Mata said: "I hope we can enjoy good moments and lift more trophies for the club and for you (the supporters) very soon.

"We're still playing to win four trophies and we will give everything we have to success in each of them."

Chelsea attempt to reach the semi-finals of the Capital One Cup on Wednesday night when they play Leeds United at Elland Road.
