French winger Florent Malouda has insisted that he will "explode" the details of his exile from the Chelsea senior squad.
The 32-year-old has not featured for the Blues at all this season, with some reports having claimed that the club were angry that his proposed transfer to Brazilian side Santos fell through over his wage demands.
However, Malouda is adamant that the speculation is far from the truth.
"The details, I'm going to explode them when I'm free, but the strategy employed is to make me look like a player who wants to be paid a lot," Malouda told France-Guyane. "It's underhand, but it makes me smile more than anything else because it shows just how much esteem those people have for me.
"If you're excluded for a whole year, it's very, very long. You have to be ready mentally. All of this is being done to break me mentally. In reality, it motivates me hugely."
Malouda, who joined Chelsea in 2007, will see his contract at Stamford Bridge expire in the summer.
