Frank Lampard has become the latest player to pull out of the England squad to face Holland on Wednesday evening.
The 33-year-old Chelsea midfielder has returned to his club, having not trained on Monday because of a throat infection.
Lampard's omission follows that of Jack Wilshere and Michael Carrick, who ruled themselves out with injuries over the weekend.
Manchester United midfielder Tom Cleverley has been called up by Fabio Capello as a replacement for the trio.
