Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard has revealed that he has made a full recovery following a stint on the sidelines with a calf injury.
The England midfielder made a brief appearance from the bench during Chelsea's 3-1 victory over Sunderland at the Stadium of Light on Saturday afternoon.
It was his first outing for the Blues since October and the 34-year-old has admitted that he had to be extremely "careful" during his rehabilitation period.
"I felt fine, there were no problems," he told reporters. "I had to be careful this time, even though I was desperate to get back, because I suffered a recurrence of the same injury.
"I have been putting the hours in the gym to make sure it has a strong base and from now, touch wood, I should be all good with it. I am ready to be in the squad and used like I was against Sunderland."
Lampard's contract at Stamford Bridge is due to expire at the end of the season.
