Chelsea youngster Todd Kane has revealed that he is relishing the chance to impress during his loan spell with Bristol City.
The 21-year-old defender made his debut for the Robins on Saturday in their 1-0 defeat to League One promotion rivals Swindon Town.
Despite starting his time at Ashton Gate on a losing note, Kane is eager to help the club win silverware this season.
"I want to take this opportunity to show what I can do and help Bristol City," he is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News. "I know it's only my first game but you could see the desire and the attitude of the boys. It's a great team and there's a fantastic work ethic throughout the club.
"Every player wants to win silverware and the goal here is to win the league. The lads are passionate and so is the manager. I spoke to family and friends about the move but I jumped at the chance to come here."
City have the chance to get back to winning ways on Saturday when they entertain Preston North End in the league.
