John Terry: "I want to stay" at Chelsea

With his contract due to expire next month, captain John Terry states once again that he wants to remain a Chelsea player.

John Terry has once again stated that he wants to stay at Chelsea.

As it stands, the 35-year-old's current deal at Stamford Bridge is due to expire at the end of next month.

Terry recently revealed that the club had offered him a new contract, but under a "different role".

The emotional centre-back grabbed the microphone as the players did a lap of honour after today's 1-1 draw with Leicester City, during which he said: "I want to stay. The club knows that, the fans know that."

Further talks between Terry and the club are expected to take place next week.
