Chelsea manager Roberto Di Matteo reveals that defender John Terry could return from suspension for their match with Liverpool on Sunday.

Chelsea manager Roberto Di Matteo has admitted that he hopes that everyone can focus on John Terry playing football now that his four-match ban for racially abusing Anton Ferdinand has ended.

The Chelsea captain could return to Di Matteo's starting lineup against Liverpool on Sunday and the Italian boss hopes that Terry can concentrate on 'trying to achieve things on the pitch' on his return from suspension.

Di Matteo told reporters: "John is available for selection on Sunday. He is in a good position to be involved.

"Hopefully we can focus on John playing football now and try to achieve things on the pitch."

Chelsea are currently one point behind Manchester United in the Premier League table.
