Chelsea have learned that they will play one of three teams in the Club World Cup semi-finals.
Thomas Tuchel's side booked their place in the competition through winning last season's Champions League, recording a 1-0 victory over Premier League rivals Manchester City.
The Blues had been expecting to feature in the global tournament in December, only for the competition to be rescheduled for early February.
On Tuesday, Chelsea learned that they would face either Al Jazira Club, Auckland City FC or Al-Hilal in their last-four tie.
Hosts Al Jazira will first face Auckland City in the first round, the victors then progressing into a second-round clash with Al-Hilal.
Palmeiras have received a bye through to the other semi-final, with either Al-Ahli or Monterrey awaiting them in the latter stages.
