Chelsea keeper Petr Cech admits that Jose Mourinho would be "more than welcome" if he were to return to the club in the summer.

Chelsea keeper Petr Cech has revealed that Jose Mourinho would be welcomed back to the club with open arms if he were to return this summer.

The Portuguese has been linked with a return to Stamford Bridge to replace the outgoing Rafael Benitez at the end of the season.

Cech told reporters: "With Jose Mourinho we had great success in the past and people still have great memories and admiration for him.

"If he comes back, the story will be interesting for everyone. He will be more than welcome."

Mourinho won the Premier League twice with the Blues during his first spell at the club from 2004 to 2007.
