Gary Cahill: 'Chelsea determined to improve'

Gary Cahill says that Chelsea will improve after a poor start to the Premier League season.

Gary Cahill has said that everyone at Chelsea wants to "put right" the team's poor form.

The Blues have won just two of their opening eight Premier League matches and sit 16th in the table.

"Luck's not on our side at the minute, but you have to make your own luck in terms of performances at the club," Cahill told reporters.

"That's something I'm determined to put right and I'm sure everyone else is. It's not a nice feeling at the minute and one we don't want to have for very much longer."

Chelsea continue their campaign against Aston Villa on Saturday.
