A Chelsea supporter holds a 'Benitez out - One Di Matteo' banner outside of the club's Cobham training ground on the first day of the Spaniard's reign at Stamford Bridge.

A Chelsea supporter has displayed an angry banner against new manager Rafael Benitez outside of the club's Cobham training ground.

The fan, who was alone, was spotted outside of the entrance to the ground holding a small banner which read: 'Benitez out - One Di Matteo'.

The supporter's anger comes after the former Liverpool boss was named as the club's new interim first-team coach following the swift dismissal of Roberto Di Matteo yesterday.

The Spaniard, who is due to meet the Blues players for the first time today, has been out of work for two years following his sacking from Inter Milan.
