Marko Marin claims that Chelsea can secure domestic and European success this season.

Chelsea midfielder Marko Marin has insisted that the club can secure Premier League and Champions League success this season.

The 23-year-old, who joined the Blues from Werder Bremen in the summer, made his first appearance for the club in Tuesday's League Cup win over Wolverhampton Wanderers.

"If you are to win the Premier League and Champions League, you need a lot of quality players. Chelsea have changed a lot since last season and now we have more attractive and offensive players," Marin told Sky Sports News.

"Chelsea have changed a lot since last season and now we have more attractive and offensive players. We hope that there are a lot of goals in this team because then it is more difficult for the other teams to play against us."

Marin has 16 German caps to his name.
