Cesar Azpilicueta hails "unbelievable" match

Chelsea defender Cesar Azpilicueta says that the team's Champions League quarter-final win over Paris Saint-Germain was "unbelievable".

Cesar Azpilicueta has said that Chelsea's Champions League success against Paris Saint-Germain was "unbelievable".

The Premier League side were 3-1 down after the first leg of their quarter-final against the French champions, but goals from Andre Schurrle and Demba Ba at Stamford Bridge last night secured their place in the last four.

The defender told the club's official website: "It was just unbelievable. I don't have the words to describe the night. How we finished the game was amazing.

"We felt out on the pitch we were playing well, it was a very good game with a high intensity from the start and we had to fight until the end. We all had the belief we could do it and obviously Demba scored the important goal.

"Obviously Demba's not been playing too much but he came in and scored such an important goal. It's great for everyone and shows the quality we have throughout the whole squad, we are all so happy for him."

The draw for the semi-finals takes place on Friday.
