Tuesday's Champions League predictions including PSG vs. Juventus

Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's Champions League fixtures, including PSG vs. Juventus.

Dinamo Zagreb vs. Chelsea (Tuesday, 5.45pm)

Chelsea begin the 2022-23 Champions League campaign with a trip to Croatia to square off against Dinamo Zagreb.

While the Blues earned their place in this group stages through the Premier League, the home side came through three qualifying rounds to book their spot among European football's elite.

We say: Dinamo Zagreb 1-3 Chelsea

Given the threat that the home side possess going forward, we would be surprised if Chelsea keep a clean sheet on Tuesday night. However, the visitors should have far too much quality in attack, leading us to predict a relatively comfortable win.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Dortmund vs. Copenhagen (Tuesday, 5.45pm)

The Westfalenstadion plays host to Borussia Dortmund's first Champions League group-stage match of the campaign, as Danish side Copenhagen make the journey to Germany on Tuesday.

Edin Terzic's side secured a straightforward passage into the group stage courtesy of a second-placed finish in the Bundesliga, while their visitors overcame Trabzonspor in the playoff round.

We say: Borussia Dortmund 2-0 Copenhagen

In spite of Borussia Dortmund's heavily-occupied treatment room, Copenhagen's inconsistent form makes it difficult to envisage any shocks occurring at the Westfalenstadion, and Terzic may be boosted by a couple of attacking returnees either way.

The Danish champions are still capable of frustrating their more revered hosts, but the Black and Yellow ought to kick off their Champions League campaign with a straightforward three points.

Our tipster partners are predicting a home win.

Salzburg vs. AC Milan (Tuesday, 8.00pm)

AC Milan get their 2022-23 Champions League campaign underway with a contest against Red Bull Salzburg in Austria.

Each team booked their place in this competition through winning the Italian and Austrian titles last season, and both teams have started equally positively this time around.

We say: Red Bull Salzburg 1-2 AC Milan

Despite the difference in profile, this has all the makings of being a competitive fixture, one which the home side may end with a share of the spoils. Nevertheless, Milan's superior quality in the final third may shine through, leading us to predict a narrow victory for the Serie A champions.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Celtic vs. Real Madrid (Tuesday, 8.00pm)

Arguably the pick of the fixtures in the opening round of Champions League group-stage games will take place in Glasgow on Tuesday, as Scottish giants Celtic welcome European champions Real Madrid.

Celtic have won all seven of their matches at the start of the 2022-23 campaign, while Real Madrid have been victorious in their first five, four of which have been in La Liga.

We say: Celtic 1-2 Real Madrid

This has all of the makings of a brilliant match, and we are expecting an entertaining contest on Tuesday night. It would certainly not be a surprise to see a draw or a Celtic win in Glasgow, but we just have a feeling that Real Madrid's quality and experience will allow them to secure all three points here.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

RB Leipzig vs. Shakhtar (Tuesday, 8.00pm)

RB Leipzig and Shakhtar Donetsk will be bidding to get their respective Champions League campaigns off to a positive start when they lock horns in Germany on Tuesday night.

The home side will enter this match off the back of a 4-0 defeat to Eintracht Frankfurt in the Bundesliga, while Ukrainian giants Shakhtar recorded a 1-0 victory over Rukh Vynnyky in their last league fixture.

We say: RB Leipzig 2-1 Shakhtar Donetsk

Leipzig will be determined to bounce back from their league defeat on Saturday, and we are backing the German side to triumph. Shakhtar certainly have the quality to cause problems, but Leipzig should just have enough to pick up an important three points in their section opener.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 2.5 goals.

Sevilla vs. Man City (Tuesday, 8.00pm)

Manchester City's latest in a long line of quests for Champions League glory begins on Tuesday, as La Liga giants Sevilla welcome the Premier League champions to the Estadio Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan in Group G.

The Citizens were dumped out in the semi-finals by Real Madrid last year, while Los Palanganas were eliminated from the group stage before unsuccessfully challenging for Europa League glory.

We say: Sevilla 0-2 Manchester City

With a new-look defence already under the cosh due to injuries and their attackers largely failing to fire, Sevilla's European baptism of fire is unlikely to end with home celebrations.

City's Premier League title defence may have already hit a couple of snags, but Guardiola's side are a dangerous beast when seeking to bounce back from a disappointment, and a comfortable away win is the only outcome that we can see here.

Our tipster partners are predicting an away win.

PSG vs. Juventus (Tuesday, 8.00pm)

Paris Saint-Germain take on Juventus in the Champions League on Tuesday.

Surprisingly, these two European giants have not faced each other in a competitive match since Juventus ran out 9-2 aggregate winners in the 1996 UEFA Super Cup.

We say: Paris Saint-Germain 2-0 Juventus

We expect PSG to have too much quality for Juventus, who are missing several key players with injuries.

The Parisians look capable of going far in this season's Champions League, whereas the visitors may struggle to go beyond the last-16 stage once again.

Our tipster partners are predicting a home win.

Benfica vs. Maccabi Haifa (Tuesday, 8.00pm)

Benfica host Maccabi Haifa in the Champions League on Tuesday.

The Portuguese side pushed Liverpool all of the way at last season's quarter-final stage, while Maccabi Haifa have qualified for the group stage for the first time since the 2009-10 campaign.

We say: Benfica 3-0 Maccabi Haifa

Benfica have began the season in brilliant form, and we think this could be a gruelling return to the Champions League group stage for their Israeli opponents as a result.

The Portuguese side will know they may require two wins against Maccabi Haifa if they are to oust either PSG or Juventus for one of the top two spots in Group H.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 2.5 goals.
