Celtic confirm Ryan Christie swoop

Celtic sign midfielder Ryan Christie from Inverness on a four-year deal.

Celtic have announced the signing of midfielder Ryan Christie from Inverness Caledonian Thistle.

The 20-year-old joins the Bhoys on a four-year deal but will be loaned back to Caley Thistle for the remainder of the calendar year.

Manager Ronny Deila told the club's official website: "Ryan is a hugely talented young player and it is great news that we have secured his long-term future with Celtic.

"He is someone who has so much in his game and he is a young player who will excite our fans and ultimately be an important part of our future success."

The Scotland Under-21 international has made 70 appearances for Inverness already.
