Steve Clarke has admitted that he would be keen to discuss the soon-to-be-vacant manager's job at Celtic.
It was recently confirmed that current boss Ronny Deila will step down from the position at Parkhead in the summer.
A number of coaches have since been linked with the post, including Clarke, who has been out of work since he was sacked by Reading in December.
"Celtic is a massive club. Anyone that comes from the west coast of Scotland, as I do, understands the size of the club," the 52-year-old told Sky Sports News.
"It's a big job. Celtic will have in their own mind who they want to go after and we should let them get on with their business.
"There are a lot of good managers out of work. If they want to give me a call, it would be nice."
As well as Reading, Clarke has previously managed West Bromwich Albion.
