Celtic keen on Michael Laudrup to fill managerial vacancy?

Former Swansea City boss Michael Laudrup is reportedly sounded out for the current managerial vacancy at Celtic.

Former Swansea City boss Michael Laudrup has reportedly been sounded out for the current managerial vacancy at Celtic.

The Daily Mail suggests that the Scottish club consider Laudrup as a possible replacement for Neil Lennon, though Owen Coyle, David Moyes and Malky Mackay also remain in the frame.

It is understood that if the 49-year-old Dane does move to Celtic Park, he would want to bring Morten Wieghorst with him to act as assistant manager.

However, Laudrup is also thought to be on the radars of both Grenada and Southampton, who also have managerial roles that need filling by the start of next season.
