Celtic boss Ronny Deila preparing for Maribor clash

Celtic boss Ronny Deila declines to comment on Legia Warsaw's appeal against their Champions League expulsion.

Celtic manager Ronny Deila has insisted that he is unfazed by Legia Warsaw's appeal against their Champions League expulsion.

The Hoops were reinstated to the competition, despite losing 6-1 on aggregate to the Polish side in the qualifying rounds, after their opponents were penalised for fielding an ineligible player.

Legia have formally challenged the decision, but Deila is adamant that his side are focused only on their next European match, against Maribor of Slovenia.

"It is an appeal and we have to see what comes out of it. I am a football trainer not a politician," he told reporters. "We are preparing to play Maribor."

UEFA handed Celtic a 3-0 win in the second leg, sending them through on the away goals rule.
