Celta Vigo striker Iago Aspas insists that he is happy to remain at the Spanish club.

Celta Vigo striker Iago Aspas has distanced himself from speculation linking him with a move to Swansea City in the January window.

The 25-year-old, who is regarded as one of the most talented strikers in Spain, is reportedly on the radar of a number of Premier League clubs.

"I have read many things saying I was going to go in the winter, but they are not true. Already it has been said several times that at least I will be here until June 30, then we'll see what's best for the club and for me," he told reporters.

"I have been at Celta 17 years and I am very proud to belong to this club. Now I'm very calm because I have a contract until 2017."

It is understood that Aspas has an £8m release clause in his contract.
