Cardiff City have secured the permanent signing of forward Lex Immers from Feyenoord.

The 29-year-old has signed a two-year contract with the Bluebirds having impressed on loan in the Championship in the second half of the season.

"It only took one meeting with the CEO (Ken Choo) for me to know that this was where I wanted to be," Immers told the club website.

"My family are already settled in Cardiff and the rapport I have with the fans is something I want to nurture going forward. This is a fantastic club with ambition that matches my own."

Immers scored five goals in 15 appearances during his loan spell in South Wales.
