A hamstring injury forces Heidar Helguson to miss Cardiff City's upcoming encounter against Charlton Athletic.

Cardiff City will have to make do without the services of Heidar Helguson during tomorrow's Championship encounter against Charlton Athletic.

The 35-year-old picked up a hamstring injury during Saturday's 3-0 win over Nottingham Forest and following a meeting with the club's medical staff, it has been decided that the striker should not be risked for the visit of the Addicks.

Fellow centre-forward Fraizer Campbell and defender Matt Connolly will also miss the match with ankle and groin complaints respectively.

The Bluebirds will be promoted to the Premier League if they manage to overcome Charlton at the Cardiff City Stadium.
