Bury sign former Arsenal goalkeeper Reice Charles-Cook

Former Arsenal goalkeeper Reice Charles-Cook joins Bury on a one-year deal.

Bury have completed the signing of former Arsenal goalkeeper Reice Charles-Cook.

The 19-year-old penned a one-year deal at Gigg Lane after failing to make a single senior appearance for the Gunners.

"We've signed him as he has some great potential down the line," Bury manager Kevin Blackwell told reporters.

"He was at one of [former goalkeeping coach] Fred Barber's soccer camps and he has been very impressed with him, we haven't got a young goalkeeper and Reice fits the bill."

Charles-Cook joined Bury after completing a trial with Bristol City earlier this summer.
