Reports: Martin Paterson in talks with Orlando City

Martin Paterson is reportedly in talks to join former Brazil international Kaka at MLS side Orlando City.

Former Burnley striker Martin Paterson has reportedly held discussions to join Orlando City in the MLS.

The 27-year-old joined Huddersfield Town in 2013, but he has struggled to hold down a regular place at the John Smith's Stadium and has consequently had loan stints with Bristol City and Fleetwood Town.

As a result, the Terriers are prepared to part with the centre-forward, which has brought about the interest from Orlando boss Adrian Heath, according to numerous reports.

Were the Northern Irishman to finalise the switch, he would become a teammate of former Brazilian international Kaka.
