Burnley striker Danny Ings has insisted that he will keep working hard to ensure that he can build upon making his England Under-21 debut last week.
Ings made his first appearance for his side during their 4-0 victory over San Marino, and the forward has revealed that he was proud to have represented his country for the first time.
The 21-year-old told Sky Sports News: "It was a great experience for me to go away on international duty, and train and play with some of the best young players in the country.
"It was a very proud moment for me to make my debut for my country and I want to experience that again.
"I will keep my head down and get back to doing my best for Burnley and hopefully that will be enough for me to be in the squad for the next game for the Under-21s."
Ings has scored 11 goals in 14 appearances for the Championship outfit this season.
