Spanish midfielder Marcos Tebar Ramiro departs Brentford

Championship side Brentford agree to cancel the contract of Spanish midfielder Marcos Tebar Ramiro six months early.

Brentford have confirmed that they have cancelled the contract of Marcos Tebar Ramiro.

The 29-year-old arrived at Griffin Park 18 months ago from Almeria on a free transfer.

However, the former Real Madrid trainee made just six appearances for the Championship club last term and he has not featured at all this season.

As a result, the two parties have agreed to cancel the midfielder's contract six months early, which will allow him to find a new club during the upcoming January transfer window.

It is expected that Ramiro will attempt to find himself a new team in his native Spain.
