Scott Hogan makes Brentford switch

Brentford sign striker Scott Hogan from Rochdale on a three-year deal.

Brentford have confirmed the signing of striker Scott Hogan from Rochdale for an undisclosed fee.

The 22-year-old, who scored 19 goals last season, has penned a three-year deal at Griffin Park.

"We are delighted to have secured the signature of Scott Hogan, a player we have tracked for a long period," Brentford boss Mark Warburton told the club's official website.

"We have admired his obvious goalscoring ability and all-round contribution over that period of time."

Brentford get their Championship campaign underway at home to Charlton Athletic on August 9.
