Alan McCormack has committed a further year to Brentford by triggering a contract extension.
The midfielder was given the option of adding one year to the contract that he signed back in 2014 if he played in a specified number of games this season.
The Irishman's appearance in Brentford's 2-1 victory over Cardiff City on Tuesday night triggered the clause.
McCormack, who joined the club from Swindon Town in 2013, was voted the supporters' Player of the Year for the 2013-14 campaign when he helped the Bees earn promotion to the Championship from League One.
The midfielder has made 27 appearances in all competitions this season.
