Lewis Macleod makes Brentford debut after three-month injury

Lewis Macleod makes his return from long-term injury as Brentford Under-21s lose to Nottingham Forest.

January signing Lewis Macleod finally made his Brentford debut in an under-21 match against Nottingham Forest at Griffin Park.

The 20-year-old had been injured since joining the Championship club from Rangers on New Year's Day, but may be available to make his full debut in Friday's West London derby against Fulham.

Macleod had been influential for Rangers before moving to England, with Stuart McCall recently saying that his departure was the main reason for their recent poor form.

The midfielder played 45 minutes of the match, which Forest's youngsters won 3-0 thanks to goals from Oliver Burke, Jack Blake and Jorge Grant.
