Neymar has called on the Brazil supporters to remain patient at the World Cup this summer.

Sections of the home support booed during the early stages of Brazil's 4-0 win over Panama in Tuesday's international friendly.

The Barcelona forward, who netted his side's first in that match, has urged the nation's fans to make their voices heard in a positive manner this summer.

"I ask the crowd for a little more patience. They booed us in the beginning," he told reporters following the match.

Brazil continue their World Cup preparations against Serbia on Friday.
