Julio Cesar: 'I do not feel pressure ahead of World Cup'

Julio Cesar insists that he is not feeling the pressure ahead of the World Cup.

Julio Cesar has insisted that he is not feeling the pressure heading into the World Cup with Brazil.

Despite making a mistake against the Netherlands which led to Brazil's exit four years ago in South Africa, Cesar is fully confident that he can win the tournament at the third attempt.

"I don't feel the pressure," the Queens Park Rangers goalkeeper, who joined Toronto FC on loan earlier this year, told reporters.

"I have to believe in myself and my work. I know how much I have to give to this group. The Confederations Cup brought me a lot of strength. Pressure is normal. This is a dream for me. It is my third and probably last opportunity.

"I remember when we got eliminated in 2010 like it was yesterday. All that sadness. Thiago Silva reminded me when I got called up that I told my mom I'd be champion in 2014. That gave me a lot of strength."

Cesar has won 78 caps for Brazil since making his debut in 2004.
