Bradford City have reportedly activated a release clause of just £1 in Blackpool goalkeeper Colin Doyle's contract.
The one-time capped Republic of Ireland international enjoyed an impressive personal campaign for the Tangerines last season when making 35 appearances.
Doyle could not prevent Blackpool from suffering relegation into the fourth tier of English football, though, with that drop into League Two thought to be enough to trigger the clause written into his contract.
According to Sky Sports News, Bradford are the first side to capitalise on the knockdown price and could now sign the stopper for a three-figure sum.
Bradford narrowly missed out on promotion to the Championship last season, having suffered defeat in the playoff semi-final to Millwall.
