Bradford City captain Gary Jones has described his side's League Two playoff triumph as one of the best moments of his life.

The Bantams secured promotion to League One on Saturday with a comfortable 3-0 victory over Northampton Town at Wembley Stadium.

"It's probably the best moment of my life, apart from the birth of my kids," Jones is quoted as saying by BBC Sport. "As you get older moments like this don't come around too often."

Next season will see Bradford return to the third tier of English football for the first time since 2007.
