Harry Arter pens new deal at Bournemouth

Midfielder Harry Arter signs a new three-year contract with Bournemouth.

Bournemouth midfielder Harry Arter has agreed a new three-year contract with the Premier League club.

Last season, Arter made 21 appearances in the top flight as he helped the Cherries avoid relegation back to the Championship, and chief executive Neill Blake is delighted to have secured his services until 2019.

Blake told the club's official website: "We're delighted to secure Harry's long term future at the club.

"Harry has been on every step of the journey and he has been an important figure in our rise through the leagues.

"He has made over 200 appearances for the club and has also become an international footballer, so we're really pleased to give Harry this new deal."

Arter has played 203 times for Bournemouth since signing in 2011, with 27 goals being scored during that period.
