Bournemouth have announced that they have signed Roma defender Matias Vina on a loan deal until the end of the season.
Since the successful takeover of the club at the back end of 2022, the Cherries have been linked with more high-profile players than they acquired in the summer.
The likes of Dango Ouattara and Antoine Semenyo have been signed from Lorient and Bristol City respectively, while the South Coast outfit have tried and failed to tempt Nicolo Zaniolo into departing Roma for the Vitality Stadium.
However, that has not been the case with one of his teammates at Stadio Olimpico who has opted to make the switch to the Premier League strugglers.
After several days of speculation, Bournemouth have confirmed that Vina has linked up with the club for the remainder of the campaign.

The 25-year-old has been with Roma since August 2021, making a total of 28 starts and 16 substitute appearances in all competitions.
Nevertheless, just seven outings have come during 2022-23, Vina only accumulating a total of 300 minutes in Serie A and the Europa League.
The Uruguay international has not played since representing his country at the World Cup, featuring for just 15 minutes across two matches.
Speaking to the club's official website, chief executive Niall Blake said: "We are delighted to secure the services of Matias for at least the second half of the season.

"Even though he only turned 25 in November, he arrives with a great deal of experience, including last season's European success with Roma.
"Our fourth recruit of the transfer window, Matias will provide strong competition for places in our youthful squad and we welcome him to AFC Bournemouth."
Vina will now compete with Jordan Zemura for a starting role at left-back, and he will become an option to feature in a central position if the Cherries switch to a back three.
Gary O'Neil will have Vina at his disposal when Bournemouth make the trip to face Brighton & Hove Albion in the top flight on February 4.
