Eddie Howe: 'We can't dwell on Manchester City defeat'

Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe admits that his side cannot afford to dwell on their 4-0 defeat at Manchester City last weekend.

Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe has said that his side must try to take the positives from their 4-0 defeat to Manchester City last weekend.

The Cherries were comfortably beaten at the Etihad Stadium, but Howe has called on his players to not dwell on being overpowered by Pep Guardiola's in-form team and instead look ahead to their home clash with Everton on Saturday.

The 38-year-old told reporters: "We reflect back and will learn a lot from the game against Man City. In this league, for us, there are going to be disappointing days.

"We have to brush ourselves down and go again because there is always another game just around the corner. Until the first Man City goal we were OK. The first three goals came from us having the ball, so that's something to look at."

Bournemouth currently sit in 17th position in the Premier League table.
